Meet Our Team

Jeffrey D. Mitchell, CPA

Jeff is the founding partner of Mitchell & Co., P.C.  He is a 1977 graduate of Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.  Jeff has been working in public accounting since graduation and obtained his CPA license in July 1980.  In August 1993, Jeff founded Mitchell & Co., P.C. Jeff is married to Linda, a school teacher, and has two sons, Mike and Matt.  In his spare time, Jeff enjoys golf, restoring cars, and jogging.

W. Thomas Parker, CPA

Tom is the newest partner at MCo, coming on board in June 2010.  Tom graduated from Virginia Tech in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Information Systems.  Tom began his career with MCo in June 2004, staying on for two years before moving to Philadelphia where he continued pursuing a career in public accounting.  Tom earned his CPA license in March 2008.  Tom is married to Katie, a veterinarian, and keeps busy attending concerts, following Virginia Tech athletics, and listening to music.

Binita D. Patel, CPA

Bini is a 2005 graduate of Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, West Virginia with Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Finance.  She joined MCo in January 2006 and has been with the firm ever since.  When she's not working, Bini enjoys movies and spending time with friends and family.

Amanda M. Halsey

Amanda is a 2008 graduate of Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Information Systems and joined MCo in early 2009.  In her spare time, Amanda enjoys going to the beach, skiing, the movies, following Virginia Tech football, and spending time with her friends and family.

Megan R. Jollon, CPA

Megan is a 2008 graduate of Virginia Tech, with a Bachelor of Science in both Accounting and Information Systems and Finance, as well as a minor in Global Business.  She joined MCo in the Spring of 2011 after spending two years in public accounting.  Megan is married to Richard, a director of sales, and in her spare time enjoys playing with Mosby (the couple's golden retriever), hiking the Virginia trails, and visiting with friends and family.

Sandra M. Tondreau, CPA

Sandy is a 1991 graduate of the University of Richmond with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.  Sandy began her career in private industry before moving to public accounting in 1999.  Sandy obtained her CPA license in 1993.  She has been with MCo in both a full-time and part-time role for several years.  Sandy is married to Michael, also an accountant, and has two daughters, Jessica and Elizabeth.  Sandy enjoys reading, working outside, and spending time with her family.

Cassie R. Chauncey

Cassie joined MCo in 1998 as the company's administrative assistant. Over the years, her role has greatly expanded to include tax preparation, payroll processing, and many other customized services for our clients.  Cassie is married to Steve, a technical consultant and has a daughter, Abby.  In her spare time, Cassie enjoys shopping, going to the gym, and spending time with her family.

Ainsly D. Rogers

Ainsly is a 1987 graduate of Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and joined MCo in January 2010.  Ainsly has three sons, Sean, Kevin and Brett, and enjoys running, biking and spending time with her friends and her boys.
